True North-Seeking Gyroscopic Surveys
Statewide Well Surveys is now offering True North-Seeking Gyroscopic Surveys utilizing SPT GyroTracer technology. Our gyro surveying capability provides precise measurements of well verticality, inclination, azimuth, and wellbore trajectory, including surveys inside steel casing where magnetic surveying methods may be unreliable.
Unlike conventional path-gyro methods that rely on an initial heading or reference, a True North-Seeking gyro independently establishes True North, providing greater confidence and repeatability in the calculated well trajectory.
Independent in-hole and out-hole surveys provide an additional level of quality control and repeatability verification.

A More Complete Picture of the Wellbore

Survey data can be provided in digital and graphical formats for engineering review, well rehabilitation planning, liner installation, and permanent project records.
