What We Log
SWS provides complete geophysical well logging for water, monitoring, and engineering wells. Select a service category to see what it covers, what it tells you, and when it is used.
Open Hole Logging
A full suite of tools run in the open borehole before casing — electric, gamma-ray, caliper, sonic, and deviation — to characterize the formations and help identify potential water-bearing zones.
Cased Hole Services
Logging run after casing and screen are installed — spinner, fluid, cement bond, and video — to evaluate how the completed well performs.
Electric & Gamma-Ray Logs
Electric logs measure formation resistivity and spontaneous potential, while Gamma Ray measures natural gamma radiation. Together, these logs provide valuable information for formation evaluation and geologic correlation.
Flow & Fluid Logs
Spinner flowmeter, fluid resistivity, and temperature logs evaluate fluid movement and changes within the water column of a cased well.
Video Survey
A downhole camera provides a direct visual inspection of casing, screen, and the water column.
Deliverables & Documentation
Logging data is available in industry-standard LAS format where applicable, along with clear log presentations and supporting field documentation.
